The electronic passport of a self-propelled machine has a number of advantages compared to paper documents. It is convenient to use and store, as it is available in electronic form, allows you to quickly and conveniently update information about the technical condition, reduces the risk of document forgery and facilitates control by law enforcement agencies. The EPSM contains data on the make and model of a self-propelled vehicle, year of manufacture, engine capacity, power, weight, size, fuel type and other technical characteristics. It also contains information about the owner and his registration data.

Authorized organizations are engaged in the registration of an electronic passport of a self-propelled vehicle to carry out the conformity assessment procedure and registration of EPSM.
