IHW
InlandHaulage ContainerWeighing. The service of moving the container to the weighing station to determine the weight of the container at the request of the client. This service is provided for various reasons: - at the request of the client; - the operational need to establish the actual weight of the container to meet the requirements of health, safety and legislation; -carrierchecks the weight of containers to check the weight of the cargo specified in the transport documents (B/L).
IMP
ImportService. This service covers the provision and implementation of import services, including, but not limited to, the provision of equipment, the submission of notifications of acceptance, transfer and loading.
IN GATE
A transaction or exchange that takes place while the container is being received through a railway terminal or a water port from another carrier.
INCOTERMS
A set of international rules compiled by the International Chamber of Commerce for the interpretation of prevailing terms used in foreign trade contracts.

INLAND BILL OF LADING
The contract of carriage is used in transport from the point of shipment by land to the international location of the carrier of the exporter.
INLAND CARRIER
An enterprise that offers an overland service or from the point of export.
INSPECTION CERTIFICATE
A document confirming thatproduct(for example, perishable goods) in good condition immediately before shipment.
INSURANCE
A system of protection against losses in which a number of parties agree to pay certain amounts (premiums) to ensure that they will be compensated under certain conditions for specified losses and damages.
INSURANCE CERTIFICATE
The document issued to the consignee certifies that insurance is provided to cover the loss or damage of the cargo during transportation.
INTERMODAL TRANSPORTATION
The use of two or more modes of transport for the transportation of goods, for example, rail to load on a truck.
ISPS CODE
The International Ships and Port Code Foundation adopted at the IMO Diplomatic Conference in December 2002 the measure aimed at ??to strengthen maritime security. (isps code - solas chapter xi-2).
